The Elderhood Senior Alliance is based in Western Washington and focused on building community in Lewis, Mason and Thurston Counties. Here are some area resources that provide support for aging and end of life challenges.
Lewis Mason Thurston Area Agency on Aging LMTAAA is a social service and a local governmental sponsored organization. It is the federally recognized Area Agency on Aging for Lewis, Mason, and Thurston Counties. The agency provides services and resources for older adults, adults living with disabilities and their families. We are one team inspired by one vision: to enrich lives and support people to live fully and with dignity. |

Consumer Direct Washington (CDWA) - Consumer Direct Care Network Washington (CDWA) is the Consumer Directed Employer (CDE) for Washington’s Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). As the CDE, CDWA employs the thousands of dedicated Individual Providers (IP) who provide in-home personal care and respite services. CDWA is a partnership between Consumer Direct Holdings, Inc. and the Home Care Workers Purpose Trust. The Trust promotes good working conditions and economic security for workers, as well as worker voice and influence in the home care industry. Department of Social and Health Services(DSHS) Aging and Long Term Care Support Administration (ALTSA) Serving adults with chronic illnesses or conditions and people of all ages with developmental disabilities. Seniors and people with disabilities living with good health, independence, dignity, and control over decisions that affect their lives. Adult/Senior Services & Information Find in-home services, residential care (assisted living, nursing home), resources to pay for care, possible state and federal benefits, legal and financial planning, and aging health information. |

Senior Services for South Sound -
Founded in 1973, Senior Services for South Sound has been dedicated to supporting seniors in our community for 50 years. Our mission is simple: Improving the quality of life for people as they age. Our programs and services include Brighter Days Adult Day Program, Meals on Wheels, Senior Community Dining, Senior Transportation, Care Connection Caregiver Registry, Supportive Services, Health and Wellness Programs, Trips & Tours Program, Adult Learning, and Independent Living Programs. The largest program we offer is our Senior Nutrition Program, provided in both Mason and Thurston counties. This program alone provides more than 100,000 meals each year to 3,000 individual seniors. We are proud to provide dozens of activities at the Virgil Clarkson Lacey Senior Center and the Olympia Senior Center. |

Mason County Senior Activities Center - Our facility is 16,000 square feet. We are located west of downtown Shelton, WA at The Pavilion, 190 W. Sentry Drive. Individuals and groups take part in programs, activities and services which support their independence through health and wellness programs and encourage their involvement in the community.

Lewis County Seniors - We are a non-profit corporation focused on assisting our senior citizens with nutritional, social, educational and enrichment programs. Along with the help of our tireless and dedicated staff, we serve meals, create learning and enrichment opportunities, help our seniors with issues directly impacting their health and wellness and reach out to the community with fundraisers and other community events. Working with the Lewis-Mason-Thurston Area Agency on Aging (LMT-AAA) we work to provide nutritious meals for all seniors. No one is turned away! Donations for meals are always gratefully accepted. |

The Senior Action Network is collection of member businesses in Thurston, Mason, and Lewis counties dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors through business development, resources and services. Our mission includes providing education to help enhance healthy, independent and secure lives for seniors in our community. Even those not yet considered “seniors” are certainly seniors-in-training and can benefit from the plethora of information provided. |
