The Roundtables of the Elderhood
Elderhood Roundtables Zoom Socialization

Elderhood Roundtables –

If you’re tired of watching the news of the world and feeling like there’s nothing you, a single, solitary human being, can do to make a difference for the better, joining an Elderhood Roundtable gives you a place to join other caring seniors to figure out ways we can continue to be of service in the world.

Roundtables are Zoom meeting rooms, organized by areas of interest, or friendship circles where seniors are valued, and show up to support each other as we look for ways to meet the challenges of aging in the 21st century.

If this sounds good to you, join our open Zoom meetings each Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7:00pm to 9:00pm to meet new people and join a circle of friends that appeals to you! Feel free to login or drop off at any time. Once we establish regularly recurring Roundtables and their members, there will be additional specific start times and dates.

To join, you will need access to the internet and a device capable of running Zoom meeting software.

When you click the Zoom link (https://bit.ly/elderhood-roundtable) and join the meeting, you will be greeted by the host and guided as to how to enter and leave Roundtable breakout rooms.

Since this is a brand new thing, we would appreciate your kind assistance in giving us feedback and helping to get the word out. As of now, we will create a dedicated Roundtable room for as few as five participants with a shared area of interest, or just the desire to form a friendship circle. Here are a few interest areas for your consideration: affordable housing, caregiving, general conversation, veterans issues, raising grandkids, gardening, food/dining, etc.
